At Healthy Hive we love to design and deliver customized training for peak performance. We welcome a “one-time training” however, the most lasting impact is seen when we work with a group or organization over a period of weeks or months offering a customized series of training sessions. Often this enables workplaces and teams to get the best ROI.
We can offer full-day training or any of our topics in micro-learning, we like to call them “learning bursts”. Learning bursts are short sessions that are easily integrated into busy work schedules. They can be tacked-on to already scheduled team meetings. The delivery style and tone of our training can also vary to fit the learning style and culture of your group.
Coaching is personalized learning process specific to each leader or team member. We provide individual coaching to follow-up after training and support integration of the group learning into individual practice.

Team Building
Team building events grow trust, affinity, alignment-cohesion and morale. All groups need to have fun together, learning more about both themselves and others
in the process.
Healthy Hive can custom design, organize, host and facilitate a unique and memorable team building day (or multi-day event) to enhance the team spirit, release stress, celebrate together, and increase individual and team resilience.
Your event can be all about fun and play or it can be a “hybrid” event that combines play and fun with learning micro-bursts, enabling the team to take a new tool or framework back to work for increased effectiveness.
We encourage off-site, nature-based settings. Healthy Hive partner’s with recreation providers to incorporate a seasonal “peak adventure” into the team building, such as kayaking, forest therapy, dog sledding.

We guide you through a process that starts with evaluating the results of your previous strategic plan and environmental scan. We recommend a high stakeholder engagement process including internal and external stakeholders, utilizing engagement surveys customized online and focus groups,
We design all instruments and sessions in collaboration with you and your Strategic Planning Committee. We synthesize the surveys and help you integrate the stakeholder feedback into your facilitated Strategic Priorities planning session, and with most clients we produce your written plan.
Conflict Resolution
Navigating and managing teams that maintain high performance, morale and cohesion
is a challenge for all leaders.
Leaders invite Healthy Hive in as an expert objective-constructive facilitative resource and neutral presence, to guide people towards and through recovery. An assessment from individual interviews and online survey, mediators gain the perspective of each party involved, and determine the suitability of the matter (context and people) for mediation. If is chosen, individual coaching occurs to prepare parties for the facilitated face-to-face (in-person or online) conversation/s for recovery and turning a new page. We also often help organizations develop or enhance their Conflict Resolution Policy and Protocol> We do this in a way that obtains “buy-in” from the staff team and leaders, making shared ownership for resolution clear, helping break common conflict-avoidance patterns which cause conflict to grow and escalate.
Mediators from Healthy Hive have over 25 years of experience to draw from. They are masterful at bringing about recovery and stabilization of relationships. They can mediate a range of process models, adapt and collaborate with the client on the process design, and can work with the range of settlement mediation to transformative mediation. Mediators from Healthy Hive are people to get “unstuck”, recognize and break unhelpful patterns, manage and make space for diverse opinions, and remain resilient and adaptive during times of change and uncertainty.
Mediators from Healthy Hive are diverse in terms of cultural background / identity and generation and have had decades of collaboration, experiential training and mentorship with Indigenous, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, Deaf + disabled, newcomer and faith and geographically distinct community Elders and leaders. We used both a solo and co-mediation model, depending on the client’s needs and resources.
We help make “good use” of a challenging time, reframing it as an opportunity to build capacity and skills, resulting in strengthened and stabilized relationships. Our work with teams and organizations produces results including increased accountability, productivity, self-esteem, morale and a greater sense of group cohesion.
